Lets the user cancel unclaimed payments for you. Lets your users send a full or partial refund.Īllows the user to withdraw money from your PayPal account to your bank account. Lets additional users add money to your PayPal account from your bank account. The privileges listed below are the typical business operations that can be performed on PayPal.Īllows users on your account to pay almost anyone with an email address in the countries that accept PayPal, with no fees.Īllows users to request that someone send money by email or through invoicing. The unique user name is used to log in along with the password you assigned. Note, the login ID is "not" an email address, it's just a unique user name you make up. I've searched for answers to this in both the forum and "Sarah", the automated (un)help desk "person". And worst of all, we're trying to get a 3rd party web developer access to the API tools, but that's even MORE confusing. But again, this seems to be completely separate from User access, and the PayPal pages are so unhelpful in describing what you're doing that I haven't found any answers. There's a separate area in the Profile section of our account where you can add email addresses. It seems that if the User and Email Address were one and they same, PayPal would require an email when adding a new user. However, this doesn't have anything to do, apparently, with their email address, which is required to sign in to PayPal. I've added each User individually, in the part where you specify access levels, give them usernames and passwords. How can multiple people at one business access the same PayPal account, besides all using the same login email and password?
